Our trek pushed all of us -myself included- to our limits at different times. For most of us 5000 meters just does not have much oxygen present with O2 levels dropping in the low 60% range! Then there are the few who it does not seem to affect.
8 out of 15 of us made it to Tilicho Lake, but as someone once said the mountain peak is where you decide it to be as there is always somewhere higher; where your decide is your limit is where you are meant to be. To be sure, we all reached that place on our Himalayan sojourn.
